"I've been a docent many years, and throughout, am grateful for the opportunity to have a reason to visit the Garden often, for new sights, old favorites, and just to be in a richly botanical world for a while. A real plus is connecting with people on my tour from all parts of the world." - Julie B.

“The most rewarding part of being a docent is the opportunity to introduce people to the Garden, and all the myriad plants and stories….People usually don’t know what to expect when they enter the Garden for the first time, so docents serve as hosts to introduce this little-known wonder to an appreciative audience.” –Jim K.
