Research Collection Permits

 

San Francisco Botanical Garden is home to thousands of taxa from around the world. Each year, these collections are made available to researchers and educators in support of myriad projects.

 

If you are interested in collecting plant material for research or educational purposes please email Victoria Stewart, with your request. When submitting a request please provide details on the nature of your project, which taxa you are looking to sample, and the material you are looking to collect.

 

Please note that all collections done in the Garden require a permit that will be issued after a review of the request.
