In Bloom: Bidens sp.

Bidens sp.Collected from seed high in the cloud forests of Oaxaca by Dr. Dennis Breedlove and Curator Don Mahoney, this particular specimen of Bidens has yet to be exactly identified. Much taxonomic work has been completed on the Bidens family, yet it remains part of the mystery of the cloud forest, still unfolding as its range is losing ground. Read more in this month's In Bloom.

Autumnal Walk in the Clouds If you missed your chance to join SFBG Curator Dr. Don Mahoney on the sold-out guided walk through the Mesoamerican Cloud Forest last month, you'll get another chance December 14 to learn more about these alluring, mist-loving plants.
