More about Storytime   |   July Bibliography

The first week of June marked the launch of the Library's new Children's Circulation program, and an eager group of San Francisco Unified School District teachers from the Youth Education Program's co-sponsored Ecoliteracy Summer Institute were there to help kick off the new service. These and other eco-savvy SFUSD teachers can now use the Library's Children's Collection to enhance their lesson plans and schoolyard learning programs. The Library's Children's Collection is now circulating to San Francisco Botanical Garden Society members and to current SFUSD teachers.

The Children's Collection inspires a child's curiosity about the plant and natural world, while at the same time offering entertaining plant-related fables, myths, and classics. We have over 1,600 children's books now available for circulation! Stop by the Library to learn more about the service and sign-up to start checking out books of your own!
