Get the inside scoop on the magnolias with a walking tour led by Garden curatorial staff. Learn about the history and importance of the Garden’s collection, and get tips on growing your own in the Bay Area. Bring your camera and take home a lasting memory of these precious blooms. Meet at Main Gate; heavy rain cancels.
Magnolias by Moonlight

Roam the moonlit paths of the Garden, guided by a Garden naturalist. Marvel at the magnolia blossoms overhead reflecting the silvery moon and inhale their lovely fragrance. Enjoy hot, aromatic tea and cookies at the Moon Viewing Pond. Bring a flashlight. Heavy rain cancels.
PRIVATE TOURS OF MAGNIFICENT MAGNOLIAS
$8 per person (in addition to regular admission)
The Garden invites you to schedule a private walking tour during this special time of Magnificent Magnolias for your group of 10 or more people. Garden tours last about one and a half hours and are led by knowledgeable volunteer docents. Larger groups will be split into smaller groups with 10–15 visitors per docent.
