About the Event

The Garden is pleased to host this beginner's guide to attracting pollinators in the city. This webinar will teach you which plants pollinators prefer and what landscaping materials support habitats for our pollinator friends year round. Tim Wong of the California Academy of Sciences will introduce you to some of our local butterflies, describe their lifecycles, and how you can support them throughout the year. Jamie Chan, of Fog City Gardener will talk about bees and growing through the four seasons. Focus of the talk will be on attracting common insect pollinators through targeted plant selections appropriate for the SF Bay Area. RSVP to receive a webinar link for the virtual program which will be sent separately (not included in e-ticket) within a few days of the May 20th program.
