Share your Passion for Plants
Lead Visitors on Garden Walks
Would you like to introduce visitors to the plants and gardens of
SFBG? Do you want to learn more about plants and their uses? Are you interested in the environment, sustainability and biodiversity? Sign up today for our Spring Training!
Training takes place on eight consecutive Saturdays and focuses on the Garden's Native Plant, Magnolia and Cloud Forest Collections and how to be a great interpretive speaker. This is the first part of a two-semester docent training class (the second part is optional). Fall classes emphasize plants from the Southern Hemisphere, which will be in bloom during that training.
