Plant Sales
For monthly plant sales at the Nursery, non-resident visitors must pay admission to get to the Garden Nursery, but can subtract the admission price from the price of the plants they purchase. Simply present your admissions receipt at the Nursery Plant Sale checkout and the cost will be deducted from your plant purchase (equal to or greater than the admission paid). Please note: This offset is not available when you buy plants at the Garden Bookstore or in our new Arbor next to the Bookstore because it is not necessary to pay the admission fee to get to the plant sale area.

THE REDWOOD TRAIL
The Coast Redwoods at the San Francisco Botanical Garden were planted around the turn of the 20th century and are among the oldest trees in the Garden. More than one hundred species of associated plants have been added over the past 40 years representing a typical redwood forest community.
Download and print the Redwood Trail Guide for your next trip. (For best results, print double-sided on legal-sized paper.)
