Magnolias & Companion Plants Featured at March 8 Plant Sale
As we close another magical Magnificent Magnolias season here in the Garden, we want to further help you create your own beautiful magnolia experience at home to provide both sanctuary for you and for these beautiful plants.

At the March 8 sale we will have a limited quantity of some very special two-year-old Magnolia campbellii seedlings from a specimen with foot-wide, nearly white, almost iridescent-pink flowers from atop Heidelberg Hill (see pictures for proof!). These are currently very small, young plants and will not flower for a number of years. This is a rare opportunity for the patient gardener to add highly desirable and unique plants to a collection. We will also have several Magnolia denudata as well as some choice magnolia cultivars.
Magnolia companion plants such as gorgeous Helleborus, Epimedium, and Bergenia will also be featured to help you add variety and round out your own Magnificent Magnolia garden at home. Also, to welcome the early arrival of our California Native Garden bloom, we will have some beautiful Ceanothus and Iris for sale.
The plant sale takes place March 8, 10am–1pm at the Nursery. And don't forget that Members get 10% off their purchases. See you at the sale!
