Spring Bloomers at April 6 Plant Sale
Springtime is a magical time in the garden. The longer days with more sunshine and warmer temperatures awaken many plants from their winter hibernation, new growth kicks into a higher gear, and spring bloomers are either here to celebrate or quickly approaching. April begins the spring bloom celebration in our four-acre, award-winning California Native Garden. We will have some beautiful California native plants for sale this Saturday for you to take home to add to your garden. Many Ceanothus, Ribes and California native Iris will be featured at the sale.
We are excited to have two blooming cultivars of intensely fragrant Boronia megastigma at this month's sale. In addition to these cultivars and California natives, we will have beautiful Aquilegia, Euphorbia, Rhododendron, and Helleborus to add bountiful spring blossoms to your garden. Japanese maples (Acer spp.) and dawn redwood (Metasequoia glyptostroboides) will also be available both with gorgeous structure and foliage.
Plant sale preview photos chosen as representative examples. Preview photos are based on the selection we're preparing for the sale but are not necessarily actual photos of plants at the sale.
