Lunar New Year Plant Sale at The Arbor

Celebrate the Year of the Snake with red flowering quince, blooming branches and other auspicious floral décor that brings good fortune and prosperity for the coming year at our first monthly plant sale of 2013!

Along with our plants celebrating Lunar New Year we will have a wide selection from other departments as well – highlights include Leptospermum scoparium 'Helene Strybing' – a beautiful cultivar in honor of the Botanical Garden's namesake; Helleborus foetidus – a easy, beautiful winter/early spring bloomer that can enliven shady parts of the garden; and some great California native plants including Ribes speciosum and several Ceanothus spp.

 

The plant sale is from 10am–1pm at the Arbor. And don't forget that Members get 10% off their purchases. See you at the sale!
