San Francisco Botanical Garden Hosts 2011 American Garden Award

American Garden Award San Francisco, CA--Once again the San Francisco Botanical Garden is pleased to be a site for the American Garden Award. The Annual American Garden Award offers a unique opportunity for gardeners and other plant lovers to vote on a specific flower they think has the most appealing garden characteristics. Some of the world's most prestigious flower breeders have chosen their best varieties to enter into this competition. With the cooperation of twenty-four highly respected public gardens throughout the United States, including San Francisco Botanical Garden, American Garden Award presents the entries for the public to view in person. Then the voting begins! Voting is possible on site through cell phone tweets and through American Garden Award's website, www.americangardenaward.org. Flowers are also available for viewing on the site for those unable to come to the Botanical Garden or any of the other participating gardens.

Come soon and often and see these flowers as they come into full bloom.
