If you are, and would like to help the San Francisco Botanical Garden Society, then you’ll want to know that you may realize extra benefits by making a gift of your IRA withdrawals to the Botanical Garden Society – thanks to legislation passed by Congress in 2006.

To qualify for benefits under the PPA:
- You must be 70½ or older at the time of the gift.
- The gift must go directly from your IRA to the San Francisco Botanical Garden Society.
- Your total IRA gift(s) cannot exceed $100,000 in 2007
