The Pea Blossom
Beautifully illustrated, this retelling of a tale by Hans Christian Andersen, is about five peas in a shell in Beijing who dream of life outside of the pod. The fifth and smallest pea is content to go wherever he is meant to go. When a young boy with a peashooter sends the peas off into the world, the fifth pea discovers where it is he is meant to go, and what fate has in store for him.
