FREE Magnolia Walk Maps

Pick up a FREE Magnolia Walk Map at the visitor services kiosk or download a map here to find key species and their location within the Garden. The map corresponds to pink identification signs throughout the Garden.

NEW! this year, a FREE Magical Magnolia Family Adventure Map that takes families on a stroller-friendly path or a more adventurous route off the beaten path to search for furry buds and giant flowers on magnolia trees large and small.

FREE Magnolia Tours

Join us for docent-led tours of the magnolia collection every Saturday at 2pm at the North Gate. Through March 15. Free with admission.

Magnolias by Moonlight

Thursday, January 16, 6–8pm and Saturday, March 15, 7–9pm
Roam the moonlit paths of the Garden, guided by a Garden naturalist, marvel at the magnolia blossoms overhead reflecting the silvery moon, and take in their lovely fragrance. End your tour with a cup of hot, aromatic tea and homemade cookies at the Moon Viewing Pond. Bring a flashlight. Heavy rain cancels.
$10 Members/$20 General.

Valentine's Day Special: Magnolias by Moonlight

Friday, February 14, 7–9pm
Give your sweetheart a special outdoor floral surprise on Valentine's Day as you roam the moonlit paths of the Garden together. It's an experience for all of five senses, as you view and smell the magnolia blossoms, and listen to a Garden guide's stories, followed by a romantic tea and cookie refreshment at the Moon Viewing Pond. Bring a flashlight. Heavy rain cancels.
$10 Members/$20 General (or $35 Members/$50 General if combined with Magnolia Cocktails).

Every Sunday, January 12–March 16, 1:30–3:30pm
Visit docent-staffed stations on Sundays to learn more about these special plants.
