MICHAEL OVERBY
A graduate of The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art with a degree in Architecture, Michael Overby was awarded the Abraham E. Kazaan Award for Urban Design for his work in his thesis year of school. He is currently a lead designer in the New York based firm Reiser + Umemoto. Professional experience at Reiser + Umemoto includes the design and fabrication of the Vector Wall commissioned by the Museum of Modern Art for the exhibition Home Delivery: Fabricating the Modern Dwelling, the O-14 tower, numerous architectural projects, and furniture design and prototyping. Previous professional experience includes Pei, Cobb, Freed & Partners Architects, New York. Michael Overby has been a guest critic at the Princeton University School of Architecture and is currently teaching at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. He was also an invited panelist at the MoMA symposium for the Home Delivery exhibition held by the New York Chapter of the AIA at the Center for Architecture. Independent work has included competitions for cultural entities and the ongoing design and fabrication of armatures and planting for a rooftop moss garden in New York.
EMMA FULLER
Emma Fuller fabricates independent architectural projects while working towards her license as
a lead designer in a small New York firm. Graduate of The Cooper Union school of architecture,
she is currently designing and overseeing the construction of a lightweight roof armature for
lighting and storage for the interior of a historic brick garden studio in Richmond, Virginia.
Professional experience includes work for Diane Lewis Architect and Bone/Levine Architects.
Independent work includes texts on cinema and urban analysis and collaborative architectural
projects for the design of seasonal structures and public spaces. Emma Fuller has spoken
on panel discussions at both the Architectural League of New York and the NY Center for
Architecture regarding contemporary architectural issues. |
