About this Service

The UCCE Master Gardeners of San Mateo & San Francisco are a dedicated, trained group of volunteers with a shared love of gardening and horticulture. Through community service and educational outreach, they provide home gardeners and community organizations the knowledge and skills to create a healthy environment for the communities. Since 2006, our Master Gardeners have worked as non-paid staff members of the University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE), answering public inquiries and providing information on all areas of plant health and gardening practices. Our trained volunteers will assist you regarding our varied micro-climates, plants and pests. We also provide detailed information on IPM, watering requirements, edible urban gardening and much more.
