ContactAnnette Huddle Guided School WalksYou and your students can enjoy an exciting and educational garden exploration by participating in our Guided School Walk Program. These popular free walks, led by our engaging docents, are offered for elementary school students throughout the school year. Dates are assigned through two lotteries – one in mid-September and one in mid-December. If you have been assigned a walk date, find out how to prepare for your guided walk.
Registration DetailsEach teacher is eligible for one walk per year. Teachers who register for the fall but who do not get a walk date are eligible to reapply for the spring. All teachers, regardless of number of visits in earlier years, have an equal chance of obtaining a walk date. All registrations received by the last day of the registration period will be entered into a lottery, and teachers will be notified of the results by early January. We accept by mail or fax only.
