The more you collect during the day, the more you have to process at night. Here, detailed notes are made of the ecology, morphology, and site conditions, and can include the color and smell of flowers. Each specimen is given a collection (catalog) number and carefully pressed in newspaper and packed for shipment to the herbarium in Hanoi where further drying and processing is done.
