Sharing technology and knowledge is intrinsic to the partnership. Here at the Bali Botanic Garden, I share propagation techniques for species that have never been cultivated before, suggesting an experimental approach where a variety of conditions are tried to see which yield that best results. Data on rare plant propagation can be invaluable when an endangered species needs to be reproduced in quantity for introduction into wild habitat.
