Lunar New Year Flower Market – January
Help with preparation and organization of the Flower Market. Sell plants, work with children to make crafts, or work the membership table and raffle.

Flower and Garden Show at the San Mateo Fairgrounds – March
Volunteer at the SFBGS booth at San Francisco's largest annual horticultural event. Share your enthusiasm about SFBG and its extensive array of resources for gardeners and garden lovers. Encourage people to visit the Garden, attend our plant sales, become a member, etc. Free admission to the Show on the day you volunteer.

Annual Plant Sale – May
Volunteer at Northern California's largest annual plant sale. Become part of an annual tradition at SFBGS. Many volunteer opportunities are available.

Summer Gardening Fair – August
Help plant clubs and vendors from all over Northern California set up and break down their displays.

Monthly Plant Sales – Saturdays
Work at monthly plant sales pulling price tags, cashiering or working the membership table. This is a great way to work at the garden once a month and have fun without getting your hands dirty.

Members-only Evenings and Other Special Events – Throughout the year
New and exciting things are always happening at SFBG. There may be special events that we have not listed for which we'll need volunteers.

Child and Family Special Events – Any event at any time of the year
Volunteer for special weekend family events on- and off-site.
